Daniel Richard: 10 Things: Absolute Coolness That You Can Believe In To Make Your Blog Super Awesome!

  • Hamdani Amin · 12 months ago
    I use all the techniques you mentioned above, still when I read this articles, it seem that I still have more to learn and there are some more trick to practice and perfected.

    #2, I had try to used sometimes a very provocative title like today post, "Let Get Nude" some people get offended by the title but the purpose it to make them read.

    #7, I don't post a lot of my picture around but I do post and send many of my post to my esteem friend for their opinion. I do on occasion make their opinion count by making them a star in my next post.

    Well at least this is how I try to make my blog awesome.

    Entertaining and informative, not to mention 'kool.' As far as #5 which asks you to add to the discussion, this works for me (as SecondWorld knows all too well!)And you got me on the menu bar buttons not working --- although I was at first irritated and wrote you a note saying the link did not work. Still not sure if that is cool, but the rest of your blog makes the missing link okay.

    These are certainly super awesome tips for blogging success! And you're definitely right about design. You can have amazing content, but if your design sucks, no one will get to it, or may get irritated while trying. Of course, that is what RSS is for! :)

    @Krish - Welcome man. Anytime, and I'd do posts that helps bloggers like ourselves in building better blogs. :)

    @Kikolani - Haha maybe I should opt for a rather messier theme to gain more RSS subscribers?

    @Wei Liang - Thanks man!

    @Tumblenoose - Yes, I know I do. Haha!

    @SBA - I'm a living example of how a pretty decent traffic blog can still work without an About Me page. :)

    This is really cool tip dude, specially topic matters the most, be as much creative as you can to make your post title. and your half of the work is done then and there

    @p@r@noid - That's right on that. I spend quite sometime on coming up with the titles. :)
  • Linda Smith · 11 months ago
    I really appreciated the tip about titles...I've been experimenting with more effective titles and realize that an interesting grab is key when you only get a nano-second of someone's online time.
  • Daniel Richard · 11 months ago
    You are right on that. It's only a split second of a time that makes the difference in grabbing someone's attention. Glad that you liked this post. :)
