not a metaphor for me. I am that guy without a boat. Other than my clothes, I own a car, a rocking chair and my PC.

I'd say that all those resources are good enough to do massive damage and grow businesses. :)

Daniel, yeah, it's what has been bugging me all along.
I know where I am right now is not at the right place and time. But it's really hard to cut the cord and start over. Yesterday, I just came to one preview training in trading, and it's the same principle. In trading people prefer to hold and hope, rather than to admit loss and sell, because it satisfied their need to be right. Starting over required us to admit that sometimes in life, we made mistakes. And we better stop before it continues on...

    Thanks for this message again!

I agree with you that people prefer to hold and hope, as it satisfies their need to be right. It is not always to their advantage if that approach is taken far too many times!

I read it in one of his old books about that story. Can be used as an inspiration story related to financial depression times. :)
