When you want to meet a deadline that is a specific goal, but the universe cannot give that to you. It only understands good vs bad. Making money on your blog is good, no? Things happen to you that are good or bad, and your aura that you give off will bring one of these to you.

At least that is how I understand it. I want a million dollars, but I may get laid instead. Both good things...

Re: Launch Into The Deep: Connecting, Redesigning Life, And Building Supernormal Networks

I'm a fan of tuning and pruning my relationships like a Bonsai tree.

People flow in and out of my life over a lifetime. I used to be more passive. I realize that by design is better than by default, unless you luck into success. I'd rather take a more proactive role in setting myself up for success.

J.D. You are right on that too! Networking is not only done cos' you want to add greater value to the person's life, its building each other up to achieve greater heights! When we build networks, we build bridges and connect with people whom we could bless and be blessed with along the way. Carry on! :-)

Re: Launch Into The Deep: Connecting, Redesigning Life, And Building Supernormal Networks

Hey Daniel! I agree with you networking is the key. Long ago, I used to frown upon networking, seeing it as an activity where people make use of other people. Afterwards, I realize that that wasn't the case at all - in fact it was a very limiting view on what networking is. It's about people coming together to allow each other to achieve greater heights than if they are to operate alone. Thanks for your great post!

Re: Q: What To Do When You Are Confined At Home For 3 Weeks Of Illness? I think I should spend more time (in my blog) clearing grammatical errors, and choosing more appropriate words to allow the post to flow smoothly.

It's good to have that habit to proofread (maybe not till the extend of being control-freakish). I write them, and then I spend at least an hour hoarding over grammatical issues and what things I may have left out. Just like software, I think life's better when you use better techniques. I put together a "You 2.0" set of steps along the same lines. I think if you have a strong core and firm foundation, then you're ready for whatever curve balls life throws your way.

J.D.
